Practical training for specialists
For a cosmetic repair to a refrigerator or the replacement of a part, such as a door or an ice maker, you no longer turn around. But solving refrigeration failures is a completely different story. In this training, all aspects to be able to do this professionally and safely are discussed.
Target audience
This training is intended for the advanced white goods technician who has extensive work experience in providing services to different brands of white goods equipment at consumers' homes (B2C). After this training you will be able to carry out refrigeration repairs independently and safely.
Duration and nature of the training
This training is given in class form and covers a total of 4 half-days. During the first part of the training, the theory is treated with the help of demonstrations by the instructor. In part 2 of the training, the student gets to work on the basis of a number of concrete and practice-related assignments. Testing takes place by means of a digital test with open and multiple choice questions. To participate in the final test of this training, obtaining a STEK certification (not by CE Academy) is a requirement. Upon successful completion of the test, the student will receive a Certificate.

Entry requirements
To participate in this training, candidates must have the following competencies, experience and level of knowledge:
• Diploma in MBO Technology or a comparable level of thinking based on demonstrable work experience
• Sound knowledge of cooling techniques
• Minimum 3 years work experience as a service technician
• VCA/VOL certified
• Good communicative skills
Rates and availability
The price of this training is € 1580 per student, excluding: VAT, costs for final test and certificate, STEK certification (see further Tariffs).
The minimum group size is 4 students. With sufficient participation, this training is offered throughout the year.
